Ph.D. – Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk, 2011 (Archaeology). Senior researcher of the Laboratory of Isotopic Geochemistry and Geochronology, Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow; instructor at Novosibirsk State University. Irina studies Strontium (Sr) isotopes in osteological and soil samples from Paleolithic sites in central Mongolia and the Gobi Altai region. Together with Arina Khatsenovich and Evgeny Mikheev, she is compiling a Sr isotopic map of Mongolia and the Altai Mountains. She is a Co-Investigator of the RSF’s project.
